#SBDCDAY
America’s SBDCs continue to be standout leaders in job creation and economic success throughout the nation. As a result of the SBDCs’ efforts over the past year, small businesses have made progress in growing and sustaining their business through inflation. Our one-on-one consulting services, business training classes, and resource partner support are all tailored to the small business needs of the individual and the community. Every day of the year, our staff celebrates our small business community, so we’d like to dedicate one day to them.
The seventh annual SBDC Day will take place on March 15, 2023. SBDC Day is a national, collective proclamation of America’s Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs)’s impact on the success of our nation’s dreamers, innovators, and doers—America’s Small Businesses.
At the TSBDC, we are in the business of helping people achieve their lifelong dreams, supporting families through job creation, and supporting communities by improving tax revenue and supporting new and growing businesses. We are the people who make sure your favorite, most loved local businesses stay in your communities for years to come through growth, succession, or acquisition. SBDC Day celebrates the hard work done by our staff to help the small business community grow and thrive. In 2022 our staff assisted 6,405 clients, supported 15,277 jobs, and assisted in $97.9 million in capital formation for the small business community of Tennessee.
The SBDC Day celebration will take place on Capitol Hill in Nashville, TN this year. We want to invite you to our celebration with a live discussion from the Hill! This event will feature a conversation with a special guest, Tennessee Lieutenant Governor, Randy McNally, and a special message from Representative John Rose. We will also highlight the great work of our team across the state, the work they did in 2022, and what we are looking forward to in 2023.
