As the business gained momentum, experiencing a remarkable 400% growth in sales from 2019 to 2022, it became imperative to elevate every aspect of production to meet burgeoning demands while upholding quality standards. It was then that Jason met Tyler Asher, the lead consultant from the Small Business Development Center (TSBDC) in Cookeville. Recognizing the need for strategic guidance, Jason  turned to the TSBDC in January 2023.

Under the guidance of Tyler and his team, Highlands Cabinets Co. embarked on a transformative journey. The TSBDC helped Jason acquire essential funding, enabling the business to implement crucial upgrades across the entire production.

The impact of this collaboration was profound. Highlands Cabinets Co. not only streamlined its operations but also created additional employment opportunities in the Upper Cumberland area. The increased capacity, coupled with a dedicated team and support from existing and new clients, positions Highlands Cabinets Co. for continued success
